Health and Happiness always co-exist

There is a saying ‘If wealth is lost nothing is lost, if health is lost something is lost, and if character is lost everything is lost’. But with changing times we need to make some modification in that. If wealth is lost nothing is lost, you can earn it again, if character is lost something is lost, its difficult to get back the lost reputation, but not impossible. If health is lost everything is lost!! My words might sound kind of foolish but its true. Its true that with so much of progress in science and technology we have found vaccines, medicines, treatments for almost every disease except a few like Ebola, but still there is also exponential increase in health hazards, decreasing immunity among people, decreasing proteins and vitamins in the food we eat, So on and so forth. Hence its very much essential to take care of our health, our children’s health, and the health of whole society for the benefit of society. Imagine if everybody is so healthy that they have a strong immune system in place in their body, nobody would get attacked by disease spreading bacterias. Accidents and other unavoidable circumstances can be different. But at least everybody will be immune to those diseases which spread from people, from environment.

Now that health is that much important, definitely its all the more important that we take good care of our family members. Just like charity begins at home, mother is the first teacher, we should also say parents are the first doctors to a child. Unless we as parents do not take care of our child’s health, who else will? These children really have lot of problem in eating food. Either it is because of no siblings or only one sibling. Or it can be due to less physical activities as they spend most of the time in front of TV, Tablets or even if they play in friends house, its not that spacious to run and jump like roads or fields. And we dont let them play in roads because of traffic and other reasons. Thus somewhere the appetite of the children of current generation is decreasing and this has led to decrease in their immunity. Visiting a doctor was the most rare event in my child hood, but for my daughter it has become more frequent. Thankfully it is once or twice in a year compared to other kids, who often fall ill almost every month. IMG_9912

Once a child falls ill, he or she will miss his or her school, cannot go out and play with friends, cannot eat their favourite dishes, cannot attend parties and enjoy. Thus there is a gloom created. Its not so for an adult. Because we do not mind skipping daily tasks for few days because of fever or other problem. But for kids, they feel that the world has come to a pause for them. But their friends are moving ahead. Thus we also feel guilty and sad that our child is not enjoying the days to his/her full. Every time a child falls ill, the growth is hampered by at least some percentage. Hence it is very much crucial to take care of our kids health. We have to give them the right food, right practices and enough attention.
